Property Location: In the "Cariboo District";  in the Central Interior of British Columbia; at the north end of the Cariboo Mountains. Accessible by road: The resort is approximately a 9 to 10 hour drive from the Vancouver area. You drive Highway 97 North to Quesnel; then east on Highway 26 to Wells and Barkerville. A short distance from the entrance to Barkerville you turn east onto the Bowron Lake Road; and it is about a  30 minute drive to the property. Accessible by air travel: Connecting commercial flights from three major cities; Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.  You can arrive in Prince George or Quesnel; where you can charter a flight directly to our resort; or we can arrange road transport to the resort for you.
		We have a private landing strip on our property which visitors can use free of charge; if they stay with, or rent equipment from our resort.   The strip can handle any small or light aircraft up to twin-engine size.  The approach is open on both ends; it has a grass/gravel surface that  is about  900 meters in length; and the elevation is  910 meters above sea level. Aircraft with floats can land on the north end of Bowron Lake. Charter flights for sight-seeing are also available upon request.
