Enjoy The Many Activities That  Await You...
Enjoy the unspoiled wilderness on a 7 to 10 day adventure around the 116 kilometer circuit of connecting lakes, rivers and portages;   or

Travel the less strenuous west side of the circuit if you have 1 to 4 days.  Visit the Park highlight; the 24 meter falls on the Cariboo River at Unna Lake.  The  slower waters, sandy beaches and warmer waters make this area great for swimming
Daily beach rentals of canoes, catamarans, kayaks. motor boats and paddle boats.

One day canoe trip to the upper Bowron River (seen here) to see moose, bear, beaver, eagles, loons and many types of song birds; all in their natural habitat.
Float the Bowron River for great fishing; and seeing Sockeye and Chinook salmon on their spawning run.
This area has always provided excellent fishing.  The glacial waters of the east side of the Park has the hard fighting Kamloops Trout; which will feed your entire group their dinner.  All the waters offer the  Rainbow Trout. Dolly Varden, Rocky Mountain White Fish and the larger Lake Trout or Char.  Kokanee can no longer be caught in the Park.  Late summer fishing is enhanced by game fish that follow the Sockeye and  Chinook salmon on their spawning runs in the Bowron River
The Bowron Lake Wilderness Park is a true haven for photographer’s and all nature lovers.  You can often get real " close-up " to animals and birds; all in their natural habitat.

( Navigating around a corner in the Bowron River, and having your passage blocked by a cow moose feeding; is an experience you will never forget.)

For the active people; there is Mountain Biking and   Hiking Trails.  The resort  has hiking trails along the Bowron River; or you can hike up to the Alpine Meadows of nearby glacial mountains.

The Bowron Lake and Barkerville area  has many miles of  back-roads  and trails for you to venture on with your mountain bikes.

Spend a day in Barkerville; the historic gold-rush town that has been restored; which is only a one-half hour drive from Bowron Lake Lodge.

There you can visit the Museum, pan for gold, ride on a stagecoach, see a Vaudeville show, watch a trial, view the many exhibits, and eat sourdough bread or hardrock candy.  After a day in Barkerville; you will sleep well that night!
Just simply relaxing and enjoying a retreat from the crazy and very busy lifestyle that people find themselves in for most of their lives.

Enjoy the gradual sloped private beach that is great for boating and swimming; great for kids.

Take in the unspoiled beauty of the area with it’s clear waters, clean air and pristine forests.
